Videocon V1688
Videocon Company has recently introduced a new mobile phone called Videocon V1688 in an Indian market. Videocon V1688 is a Swivel phone with product dimensions of 105mm height, 58mm width and 16mm depth. The phone operates at frequencies of GSM 900/ 1800 MHz and GSM 900/1800 MHz. The mobile phone comes with 90 degree Swivel QWERTY keyboard and Dual SIM (GSM + GSM). Videocon V1688 offers a display of large 8.1 cm (3.2 inches) with 262K color. It has a TFT resistive touch screen with the maximum resolution of 320×480 pixels. Videocon V1688 is available in colors of attractive Red, Yellow and Silver.
Videocon V1688 is equipped with Lithium Ion battery with capacity of 1000mAh. The battery provides talk time of up to 6 hours and standby time of up to 300 hours. The memory slot is T-flash card and the capacity of the external memory is up to 4GB (2GB card included). The phonebook contains 2000 entries and the call record contains missed, received and dialed calls. The mobile phone has extraordinary camera features. It is equipped with 2.0 Mega Pixels camera with the camera resolution of 1600×1200 pixels. The video formats are MP4, 3GP, AVI and RMVB. It also offers digital zoom and 3GP format at 15 fps (video recording). Data features in Videocon V1688 are Stereo Bluetooth Streaming (A2DP), Connect wireless via Bluetooth, USB 2.0 port, GPRS and EDGE.
Videocon V1688 also offers MP3 player with 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio with recording, ringtones (vibration, MP3, polyphonic), speaker and headset. Messaging features include SMS (storage of 1000), MMS, Email, Instant Messaging (Preloaded MSN and Yahoo) and Social Networking Services (FB, Skype). Music features are dual speakers, preset equalizers, bass enhancement, transfer music, shuffle through songs using Touch UI & keys, three types of music modes (3D mode, Equalizer mode, Reverb effect mode).
